Conviction 20 - Committed to Supporting Our Mission Partners

CrossWay’s mission partners are an invaluable asset in our mission to bring glory to God through the transforming of lives by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We thank God for all of our mission partners and we are committed to providing long-term support and care to our mission partners.

Prayer Support

One of the most effective and important things we can do for our mission partners is to pray for them regularly. We ask all CrossWay members to pray for our mission partners. Pray for them in your devotions, pray for them at your dinner table, and pray for them in you Care Groups. We will regularly post their updates on Missio CrossWay so you can hear about what God is doing and pray for all of their needs.

Financial Support

As a church, we also want to provide the lion’s share of financial support for our mission partners. We realize that it is good for a missionary to have many people supporting them so that there are many people praying for them. But we also realize that their time, especially on leave, is best used for a sabbatical, and refreshment, and relationships and not for fund-raising. Our desire is to let them know through our financial support that we are committed to them.

Other Forms of Support

Our support, though, does not cease with prayer and finances. We want to let them know through our letters, Emails, phone calls, and care packages that we love them, we pray for them, and we thank God for them. We are committed to making it easy for your to contact or send a package to our mission partners as a way of encouraging them in what God has called them to do. If you are unable to find their contact information on Missio CrossWay, please contact the church office and we can give you the information you need.

CrossWay Exists

CrossWay is committed to providing long-term support and care to our mission partners. Please join us in praying, and giving, and encouraging our mission partners. Encourage prayer in your Care Groups, lead your family in prayer around the dinner table, and find creative ways to encourage those who are partnering with us in the proclamation and demonstration of the gospel to all people, tongues, tribes, languages, and nations for the glory of God.
