We are looking for Care Groups or families to provide gifts for the Leadership Team in the Philippines. Letters are going out to CG Leaders requesting CGs to support families by purchasing queen sheets (beige) and purchase school uniforms and school supplies for their children. This week the PTC is hosting their 10th Annual Ministers Conference. This conference gathers all the pastors together in one location to hear instruction in how to preach God’s word effectively. It is the only time all year that all of the pastors gather together.
Construction Progress
I was able to sourced, purchased, and delivered to the site the majority of the materials needed for the construction. We also did some progress in the construction work. Below are some pictures showing portion of the wall applied with putty, the wood planks, the angle bard/metal studs/metal tracts; the roof ceiling frame; Boral Plaster board for ceiling; metal carrying channel; the perimeter fence at the back; and deformed bars/ concrete hollow blocks. The mission team has its work cut out for them.
Well Drilling
The drilling of the well for the community was already completed today. The water will is very clear. We will take sample of the water and have it tested in a laboratory. We are praying that it is potable drinking water. The flooring and the walls will be prepared and concreted next week. The well is being named Reydan’s Well in memory of Paul and Arcy Caampued’s son who died a few years ago in a motorcycle accident.
