Update on Philippines Trip

Money was sent to the Philippines to start the drilling of the well for the village in which the Pastors Training Center is located. It will take 2-3 weeks to drill and it will serve to provide potable drinking water to the entire village. They are drilling for the well behind the Barangay Hall, a community center for the village. The well will be named Reydan’s Well in memory of Paul and Arcy Caampued’s son who died in a motorcycle accident a few years ago.

Paul writes the following about our up-coming trip,
We had a freak accident at the PTC Center. The electrical wiring for the convenient outlets got burned . We are now in the process of rewiring the outlets. I feel very sorry for those from CrossWay who completed the work, especially for Gary and Miki, together with Karen and Mercedes.

Arcy listed 35 children of the members of the PTC Leadership Team who need school supplies and school uniforms. The supplies can be purchased in the Philippines since they may be different from the school supplies children use in the US. Filipino 500 (US$ 13) for each child for school supplies assistance should be sufficient.

For the school uniforms, each school has its own uniform. Arcy suggested that if you give assistance for the school uniforms, just give cash. Filipino 500 (US$ 13) each child for school uniform assistance will be a big help for them.

We look forward to your arrival.
Paul
If Care Groups or CrossWay members are looking for a place to give more personally to provide for the members of the PTC Leadership Team, please contact me in the church office. We want to take funds for school supplies and uniforms ($25 per child) and some theological books to start their library.
