Winter 10 Exploring Christianity - Wk 7

Again, we are so aware of our dependence upon God to preach the gospel, our dependence on God to answer objections, and our dependence upon God to change hearts.

LAST WEEK

Attendance is still slightly off, but we are trusting God that the people He wants there on Wednesday evening are there by His grace. This past week we reviewed our progress so far...
Week 1 – No one can earn their way to heaven; no one is good.

Week 2 – God is sovereign, holy, just, and loving.

Week 3 – We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

Week 4- Jesus believes He is the unique Son of God, fully man and fully God.

Week 5 – The uniqueness of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection qualify Him as the Savior.

Week 6 – The gospel is good news because it frees us from the bondage of sin, removes the penalty of sin, provides righteousness, and reconciles us to God.
THIS WEEK

This week I will try and answer the question, “What must I do to be saved?” The whole talk is on repentance, faith, and the need for sinners to humble themselves before God.

SPECIFIC PRAYER

Pray that God would grant eyes that see, ears that hear, minds that understand, and hearts that respond in repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ, alone.
