Update on the Fisherfolk

I recently received this Email from Paul Caampued in the Philippines,

I visited the fishermen that we helped to rehabilitate their nets and cages after the seminar in Subay, Cardona, Rizal. The tilapia breeders had already grown up and had started producing fish fry about a month ago. It will take another 3 months to grow the fry to become fingerlings, that would be by the middle of May when they will be transferred to the growing nets.

On the other hand, the bighead fringerlings they are growing will be ready to be transferred to the growing cages by the middle of April. This coming month, the growing nets will be put in place.

Attached are 3 pictures. The picture at the top shows the nets where the tilapis breeders are kept. The middle picture shows Ka Jessie feeding the bighead fry. The bottom picture shows the net where the tilapia fish fry are grown.
