On behalf of CrossWay's elders, let me express my deep gratitude and overwhelming joy at CrossWay's recent generosity in giving their finances to support the construction center of the PTC center in the Philippines. Thank you for participating in this act of grace. It is a demonstration of the profound affect that the gospel has had on you.Our goal was $25,000 and Tom reported that we collected $24,533. As soon as I announced that to the Philippines mission team, one of the members pledged the remaining $467. Praise God. As the Director of Pastoral Training Course, I wish to express my sincere gratitude for your generosity in sharing your resources, both in finances and manpower to help us build the PTC Center which will serve as a venue for PTC training seminars and annual ministers conference. It will also house the office of Habakkuk Mission, and serve as living quarters of the PTC Director.
On behalf of the PTC Team, and the hundreds of pastors and church workers serving the Lord among the grassroots that here in the Philippines, I wish to express our sincere thanks. I immediately shared the information to them about the special offering of US$ 24,533.00 which you graciously give for the completion of the Center. They were all thankful to God and to CrossWay's generosity. The Apostle Paul wrote this to the believers in Corinth'
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make you abound in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: "He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor, his righteousness endures forever."Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. you will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanks giving to God.
This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but also overflowing in many expressions to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out with you because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift. (2 Corinthians 9:6-15).
I kept the records of your contributions towards the construction of the Center. With this new contribution, the total stands at US$ 56,961.81 (including the US$ 1,000 in June 2009). Indeed, God provides sufficiently for His work.
