Pray for the Gospel this Monday

Dear Friends and Family,

Thank you for your faithful prayers. This morning as we read Romans 8 together we were reminded of the great gift of salvation from our Father through the Son. Moving through our city with a sea of people we continue to cry out for the Spirit to move in power and might not only in our "hood," but throughout this city and beyond.

This coming Monday (Mar 15th) we ask that you would join us in prayer as Ch@d will be one of two speakers at a day-long "conference" for Mslm "seekers." There will be two speakers, music, time for interaction / discussion, lunch and chai. Pray for a good turnout.

Pray also that the Good News would be spoken with clarity, passion, and power. Pray that the HS will move in the hearts of those in attendance, and that many will not only hear the truth, but through His grace be set free from the bondage of sin to become co-heirs with Chrst! The meeting will happen Sunday night your time, Monday (from about 9am to about 4pm) our time. Your prayers for this time are much appreciated!

Mommy and baby are continuing to do well. Ch@rity will be entering the sixth month of pregnancy in a few days. Though she continues to deal with nausea, vomiting and exhaustion, the sickness is far less than it was. Thanks for praying for her in this way! Praise the Lord with us for the kind generosity of fellowships in WI, MN, and of our families, who supplied all our practical baby needs for the first year. We are truly blessed! How did all these wonderful gifts get all the way over here to us you ask?

We were delighted to welcome some visiting friends from Minneapolis this past week - Bruce & Gina. We were encouraged and blessed by our time with them. As the temperatures have now reached the 100s,, we are thankful for Bruce's willingness to put his electrical expertise to work for us around the house (by, among other things, installing a bunch of fan regulators).

Please continue to pray for the hood and for the light of the gospel to shine brightly here in this dark place.

Thank you for your prayers and support,
Ch@d and Ch@rity
