Taste of Building in Progress: Ethics and New Generation of Eastern Europeans

On November 9, 1989 the wall separating a third of the world’s population from Jesus Christ came down. Yulia lived behind the “wall” as a student in the still communist country of Belarus who did not believe God even existed. David also lived behind the wall, as a missionary undercover reaching college students in communist Yugoslavia awaiting for the neighboring country of Albania to open up to the gospel. As the Berlin Wall fell and the Iron Curtain came down we fell to our knees in awe of God’s awesome deeds!

Now, twenty years later, sitting around us in our home in Hungary are formerly Muslim Albanian, formerly atheist Moldovan, Macedonian and Russian believers being trained to effectively lead their ministries through the many moral difficulties they encounter.

For example, when a group of Mujahadeen surround you and demand “Are you a missionary?” How would you respond? The ethics and moral convictions they build based on God’ Word will influence those in their ministries and beyond!
