PTC Center Has A Roof

Almost two years ago CrossWay sent a mission team to the Philippines to construct a building for our mission partner Paul Caampued. Paul and his leadership team train grassroot pastors who have had little or no theological education to shepherd the church. Their ministry is conducted under the name, Pastor Training Course (PTC).

The PTC was constructed as a facility for a local church to gather in and to be used as a training center for pastors. The CrossWay team constructed all of the exterior walls, and slowly over the past 2 years, as funds became available, our partners have continued construction. Recently, funds have been made available for them to complete the roof.

In early May 2010, CrossWay is sending a second team to the Philippines to complete the construction of the building. We would like all of CrossWay to participate in this project by praying, giving, and for some of you, going to help us complete the building.

In this second trip we are taking a smaller team for two reasons. First, so that the majority of funds can go to the completion of the building. Second, the work is less labor intensive and more finish work so less hands are needed.

If you are interested in going as part of the team, see this Sunday's bulletin and plan on attending the information meeting in early January. If you are not interested in going, then plan on giving either to one of the mission team members or as part of a "special offering" for the construction of the building.
