Fisheries Reconstructed in the Philippines

CrossWay funds go to help reconstruct fisheries in the Philippines. In late September of this year, Typhoon Ondoy wreaked havoc on the Philippines, its villages, homes, and livelihoods. Our mission partners, Paul Cammpued and his team, immediately went to work providing relief to many victims.

One area they reached out to was a fishing village where they often go and train Filipino pastors. This village lost its livelihood in the typhoon. All of its fisheries were destroyed. CrossWay sent some funds from its mission budget and from the Renner Cup to help with typhoon relief.

Paul has sent some pictures of the recently reconstructed fisheries and fishing hut where the fishermen live to tend to their stock of fish. We thank God for the privilege of helping Paul and the victims of Tyhpoon Ondoy in this small way.
