As I sit staring out my window on a cold Wednesday afternoon at CrossWay, I am always encouraged when the Loaves & Fishes Team drives up to drop off a food item for Exploring Christianity. Your commitment to cook for Exploring Christianity speaks of a love for the Savior, a longing to see other people come to faith in Christ, and a willingness to sacrifice your money, time, and comfort to serve. Thank you for encouraging me, for your example, and for your faithful, joyful, and selfless service.
LAST WEEK
Last week the numbers were down, most likely due to the cold weather after the snow storm and the stomach flu spreading through families. I spoke on “What’s the big deal with sin.” I defined sin as any failure in act or attitude to give God the honor He rightly deserves. I then told our guests we were all in this predicament, I outlined 4 problems with sin, and told them how God sent His Son to solve the problem of sin.

SPECIFIC PRAYER
- God would bring back people who missed last week’s Exploring Christianity. God would orchestrate weather, health and other circumstances to make it possible for guests to attend.
- God would continue to draw people to Himself through the love of CrossWay and through the proclamation of the gospel.
- God would encourage those who are bringing, cooking, or purchasing food.
- God would continue to unite, encourage, and use the Hospitality Team as a light to our guests.
- God would continue to encourage and use the setup and take-down team as a visible witness to the transforming power of the gospel.
- God would use the Discussion Group Leaders and Helpers to facilitate discussion, to build relationships, and to love those who are heavy laden.
- God would use the sermon to draw sinners to the Savior.
Thank you for praying along with us for the regeneration of sinners, the adding of new believers to our church, and the advancement of the
