We thank God for your prayers for Exploring Christianity. God has been so very gracious and kind and steadfast in His faithfulness towards this ministry. We trust that God is at working changing people’s hearts through the power of the gospel.
LAST WEEK
Last week we had more people attend than had registered at the Preview Dinner. I think around 89 adults pre-registered, but we had over 100 people and we had to setup a seventh discussion group at the last minute. Last week’s talk was on, “What about God?” and I gave an overview of God’s character as one who is absolutely sovereign, holy, just, and loving. All of creation owes its allegiance, and worship, and obedience to this Creator God.

This week I will try to answer the question, “What’s the big deal with sin?” I will talk about the Alienation of Sin, the Bondage of Sin, the Guilt of Sin, and the Penalty of Sin.
SPECIFIC PRAYER
Please pray specifically that...
- God would continue to draw people to Himself through the love of CrossWay and through the proclamation of the gospel.
- God would encourage those who are bringing, cooking, or purchasing food.
- God would continue to unite, encourage, and use the Hospitality Team as a light to our guests.
- God would continue to encourage and use the setup and take-down team as a visible witness to the transforming power of the gospel.
- God would use the Discussion Group Leaders and Helpers to facilitate discussion, to build relationships, and to love those who are heavy laden.
- God would use the sermon to draw sinners to the Savior.
