Dear friends and family,
Here’s a quick news flash from the Angers family and the Geneva Bible Institute :
Nathanaël David Angers was born on November 25th, 2009. His two older brothers are so happy to have a live ‘toy’ that they can hug and kiss anytime and who actually smiles back at them!
Dominique’s work on his doctoral dissertation is advancing and it looks like he might actually be able to finish this coming September! We’d appreciate your prayers to this end!
The students at the GBI are eating up their Bible courses and it’s neat to see some that God has especially gifted in understanding and communicating his Word. It’s also very exciting to observe a growing comprehension among the students of the centrality and power of the Gospel in the lives of believers!
Dominique really enjoyed teaching a three-week intensive course on the Gospel of Luke recently. He also has many opportunities to preach and teach in different parts of France and Switzerland.
A good number of the 26 first-year students are considering doing the full 4 years of training at the GBI in preparation for full-time ministry!
Laura is continuing to build some friendships with people she’s met at local parks – with Sylwia and Goran and their 2 children, and Marie-Antoinette in particular. We invited them to church this Sunday and to our home for lunch afterwards– please pray that they would come and be touched by the truth!
Voilà!
Thanks so much for your prayers. We’ll let you know about this Sunday!
Love,
Laura, Dominique and boys
