Pastor Training
Pastor training, especially at strategic pastor conferences in the U.S., is the key component of our national strategy. As a church we want to encourage our elders and other people in our congregation to invest in conferences where we can influence other pastors about the importance of the gospel, the local church, and expository preaching.
CrossWay is a founding member of The Gospel Coalition which is a group of men and churches who are committed to building their churches on the foundation of the gospel. The Gospel Coalition has a great introductory video on the purpose and mission of TGC. The focus of TGC is the centrality of the cross for pastoral ministry and for our local churches. It celebrates the gospel, defends the gospel, and promotes the spread of the gospel.
Church Planting, Mercy, and Evangelism
We can see ourselves as a local church sending out men to plant churches in other parts of the United States. To that end we would support those pastors and churches by partnering with them in the spread of the gospel through ministries related to mercy and evangelism.
CrossWay Exists
CrossWay exists to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ through the United States, especially as it invests in pastors and other local churches. Please pray for the work of The Gospel Coalition, educate yourself about it, encourage those who are involved with TGC at CrossWay, and participate in TGC sponsored events where possible.
