Belo Horizonte ESCALE Preacher’s Club
We started in February with the ESCALE team (Nelson, José Francisco, Marco Antonio and Manuel Francisco), other pastors (Levi, Rodrigo and Charles) and some former ESCALE students (Elerson, Gisele, Edson, Wilson and Jairo). We meet every Wednesday evening, from 7:30 to 8 pm. To study David Jackman’s DVD lectures and we also spend some time discussing our Sunday sermons. There are some exercises required in D.J.’s DVD which we all do at home over the week and bring for discussion on Wednesday. It has been a great encouragement to all of us.
ESCALE Teacher Training Course in Arapongas
We have selected some students that will take part in a Teacher Training Course, which may start by mid-2011. After the completion of that course some of them will be challenged to join the ESCALE in situ team to help the training of grassroots leaders in their region.
Expository Teaching and Preaching Training Course in Governador Valadares (GV)
Conversation is in progress to establish a new course with focus on Expository Preaching for those who want to further their training. We have already met to implement this idea and our thoughts are to start it in 2011.
The training of more than 400 grassroots Pastors and Leaders by Nov 2013
That is possible to be achieved according to God’s will through the help of each ESCALE team member in Belo and in all the 9 ESCALE in situ Training nucleus. It involves much travelling, time and energy, but with God’s help we will do it. By the end of this year (2010) around 100 grassroots leaders will be trained by ESCALE in Brazil.
