We thank God for the relationships he is forming between CrossWay and the Brazilian church. Our love and respect for Nelson Salviano and his network of pastors increases with every day of ministry. There is much joy, worship, prayer, laughter, tears, and service together. These brothers and sisters in Christ are becoming close family members.

Today was another full and exciting day of serving the Lord. We started the day in the Vila dos Montes district where we did some door to door evangelism, visiting homes, sharing Two Ways To Live, and praying for families. We then gathered all of the children in the district for some songs, a gospel-centered puppet show, and some snacks.
Today the team visited Pastor Geraldo’s home we he treated us to a Churrasco, a Brazilian BBQ of roasted meat, with several pastors.
After lunch the ladies went to Missionary Elza’s church where they conducted an outreach with ladies in the community, shared several testimonies, and prayed for one-another.
The men visited Pastor Marcelo’s church, a man filled with faith and the joy of the Holy Spirit, who testified about all that God provided in material and labor to build his church building. It was a testimony of God parting the Red Sea from a church that met in a tent to a building that is almost completed. What was most humbling about Marcelo’s story was how much labor he personally did to construct the church building while pastoring a local church.
We broke up into four teams last night and went to four different churches to minister the gospel. All of the men teaching did outstanding work and the churches were blessed by their ministry. I had an exciting time training pastors and church leaders on how to use Two Ways To Live. They all loved the tract and it was exciting to see the Brazilians sharing the gospel with one-another at the end of the evening.
Please Pray
Please pray for us in the following way for the next 24 hours.
The team seems more rested now and adapted to our environment and schedule. Thank you for praying and we ask your continued prayers for health, sleep, and wisdom with our schedule.
Pray for the men who will be teaching in churches tonight: Mike Ledford, Joel Swift, Brian Skanron, and Steve Handler.
Pray for an evangelistic sports camp that we are hosting tomorrow. Pray that many children would come, they would have fun, and there would be a clear presentation of the gospel.

Pray for the final pastor training session tomorrow evening with a focus on three biblical pictures of the gospel: slavery, redemption, and freedom, the temple, sacrifice, and cleansing, and relationships and reconciliation.
Pray for all the Brazilians who are serving our team by driving, translating, and hosting all of the events.
Pray for our continued fellowship with the Brazilian brothers and sisters in Christ. That God would use our time together to strengthen the Brazilian church and CrossWay Community Church.
