A Definite Answer to Prayer

So many of us want to see answers to our prayers, yet often our prayers are not answered, at least not the way we want them to be answered. James gives us one of the reasons for this,

You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. -James 4:3

One way to receive a definite answer to prayer is to align our prayers with God’s will. In Luke 10, verse 2, Jesus tells his disciples,

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

You would think that God would answer the prayers that Jesus tells us to pray. In fact, if you would pray that prayer and then obediently respond to your own prayer by going out into the harvest, then God would definitely answer that prayer.
