Skype Update from Caampueds

The Caampued Bridge Team communicated by Skype with the Caampueds this past Sunday.  It was good to see them and hear their voices.  Even after the two recent typhoons, they are doing well, grateful for God's sovereign care of them and their families, and they continue to labor steadfastly for the Kingdom of God.

Today is their wedding anniversary.  They have been married 33 years and they both acknowledge their marriage gets sweeter as they both become more like Christ.  Please pray for them and congratulate them by Email or on FaceBook.

Here are their prayer requests:

  1. Pray for their ministry in Iloilo this week.  Paul will be leading members of the PTC Leadership Team in training from the Stephen Olford Center and he will be training about 30 pastors in the Essentials of Expository Preaching.  Paul asked for prayers for effective and clear communication of the principles and that the Holy Spirit will convict the pastors of the need to teach the Bible clearly.
  2. Pray for their marriage, that God would continue to strengthen their love for one-another and their love for the Savior, and that they would continue to become more like Jesus Christ.
  3. Pray for their son, Paul Caampued III, who is joining a short-term mission team this January.  Pray that God would provide for all his financial needs, that God would use him to minister God's grace to others, and that God would use this trip to direct his calling.
  4. Pray for their daughter, Marichu, that God would continue to protect her in traveling from the orphanage where she works to their home on the weekends, that God would continue to use her to care for the staff and orphans, and that God would continue to prepare her for what lies ahead.
Thank you for praying CrossWay,
