Dear Praying Friends,
In early October we launched the new school year here in Geneva by welcoming 31 new students (mostly from France, see picture). We now have a total of 68 full time students, an all time record for us. Praise God!
Here’s a big picture of what’s coming up this year for our family:
Dominique will teach 4 courses in Geneva and 2 in Quebec. He will publish 3 articles in a new Dictionary of Practical Theology, write his first book (on what it means to “meditate on Scripture” in the digital age) and finish his doctoral dissertation. He will travel to various places in France, Switzerland and Quebec to teach and preach the Word. He will also launch a new preaching school with former director Mike Evans (Brian Chapell will be our special guest for this event).
For the first time, Laura will be directly involved at the Geneva Bible Institute: she will disciple 7 or 8 female students. She will also teach Sunday School at our church and co-lead a Moms’ Bible study. Of course she will be spending most of her time with our own children: Luc Emmanuel (almost 5), William (2 ½) and Nathanaël (10 months).Luc Emmanuel just started going to kindergarten in the French public school system and he is loving it! He has an outstanding teacher. May God help him discern between good and evil, and choose to do what pleases God even when nobody (but God) seems him.
William is now the big brother at home (that is, during class hours)! May he learn to love the Word of God this year. Nathanaël is growing up pretty fast, trying to be like his older bros. May he one day become like the Nathaniel of the Bible (John 1:45-51).
Thank you so much for your prayers. They mean tons to us !!! We have come to anticipate God’s amazing answers to the intercession of his children.
