I received this Email from Paul today updating us on the developments on the farm. The caribou (water buffalo) they are raising to generate income for the PTC work. CrossWay donated $1,000 to help repair damage to some of the structures and crops on the farm after two typhoons.
I went for a quick visit at the farm on Tuesday to see the preparation for the planting of rice seedlings that were sown last month. The preparation is doing well. Planting will be done on Friday.
I took some pictures of the carabaos and a cow that are sheltered in the reconstructed structure.
The first picture shows the 8 month old female carabao that I bought. The lone cow is the remnant of the 5 cows. The four were sold one by one during the continues construction of the PTC Center. The other picture shows the 'grandmother, son, and grandson' carabaos. The one with yoke and plow is the daughter of the grandmother and mother of the grandson. They are a family of four carabaos without a father and grandfather. (I'm nor sure if you can follow what I'm saying, but it's the funny way of describing the carabaos family).
There is a training at the PTC Center on essentials of Expository Preaching until today. Eight pastors are attending training. They are trained to write a manuscript and deliver expository sermon with complete explanation of the text, illustration and application of the truths in the text.
Let us pray for the training going on at the PTC center this week.
