December With The Caampueds

Paul has a Korean missionary friend who recently celebrated his 60th birthday. His request was that Paul come visit him (an approximate one hour trip). God used this trip, and Paul, by giving him an opportunity to preach to the indigenous Filipino people in that area. On the way back home, traveling through the mountains where the roads can be quite dangerous, a Jeepney slightly sideswiped their car. By God's grace, no one was hurt, and their car sustained only very minimal damage.

As of last month, it was reported that there would be no more training sessions in December, however, because of "public insistence demand," there will be one more training session at the PTC from Dec. 14 to the 16th. Training consists of sermon writing and then deliverance of that sermon. The challenge is grammatical construction in English.

There is still work being done at the farm. Troughs are being built, and with funds sent by CrossWay, an 8-month-old female carabao was able to be purchased.

Special this time was that we were able to also speak with Paul III and Marichu. They are doing well.

Prayer Requests:

Paul & Arcy:

• Training session this week at the PTC, Wednesday through Friday.
• Strength for preaching 4 to 5 Christmas programs between December 18th and 28th.
• Pray that, during the Christmas dinner, plans can be made for the pastor's wives to begin their book study and fellowship in January.
• Pastor installation, under the supervision of Pastor Paul, on January 8th in Arcy's home town of Balaoan.

Paul III:

• That he will find favor with those he works for at his job.
• Leading youth worship this week; that it would be a life-changing experience for all.
• Leading a worship workshop at Balaoan church on December 21st.

Marichu:

• Orphanage donations in December (most of financial giving comes this month).
• Children won't get sick with all the visitors coming & going this month.
• Vacation time to go with Paul III to the worship workshop in Balaoan.
