Continued Prayer for the Philippines

Our good friend and brother in Christ wrote me this Email today,

Thank you for requesting the Crossway members to pray for us and the brethren in the Philippines.. The picture that you posted (two men and the pig) was in San Mateo, Rizal (the town below Antipolo).

Please continue to pray for the people affected by the strong winds and the flood waters. Some of the pastors we are training in Isabela, Zambales, and Bulacan were among the victims of the typhoon's strong wind and flood waters.

We have to cancel our scheduled trip to Balaoan, La Union (Arcy's hometown) tomorrow because another typhoon, "Quiel" (international code name Nalgae) will make a landfall in Cagayan and Isabela province early tomorrow, may be more devastating than "Pedring" (Nesat), the government's weather bureau said this afternoon. Also the roads in Bulacan, Pangasianan, and La Union are still under flood waters.

I was scheduled to preach on Sunday and conduct a seminar until Wednesday but we have to exercise due prudence. We'll reset the seminar sometime later.

Pray for Arman who is traveling to Cebu City, and Kabancalan City in the Visayas (Central Philippines) to finalize the preparations for the seminars in those areas which we will conduct on November 2-4 in Cebu, and 5-7 in Kabancalan.

Grace.

Paul

Since we have an all-powerful, prayer-hearing, and prayer-answering God, let us boldly approach the throne of grace with our prayers for the Philippines.
