We have had the privilege of hosting our mission partners, Paul & Arcy Caampued, with us over the last four weeks. This Sunday Evening, May 1st, from 6:00-7:30 we will have a mission night focused on the progress of the gospel in the Philippines.
Our Philippines Night will include:
- Activities for the children.
- Filipino food.
- Slide show of short-term missions.
- Presentation by the Caampueds.
- Prayer for the Caampueds.
- A special offering for the work in the Philippines.
When speaking about supporting those who go out from our midst to further the progress of the gospel he says,
You will do well to send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God. For they have gone out for the sake of the name, accepting nothing from the Gentiles. Therefore we ought to support people like these, that we may be fellow workers for the truth. 3 John 1:6-8
As a church, let us send the Caampueds on their way in a manner worthy of God. Let us do this on Sunday evening with our attendance, our prayers, and our giving. As we do so, we will be fellow workers for the truth, the progress of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the Philippines.
