Gospel Workers Living in Budapest

Steve Moore and I are having a sweet time visiting David, Yulia, Tosha (4), and Evan (2) in Budapest. We arrived late Wednesday afternoon and spent all evening enjoying fellowship with them over dinner.

David works with three other Campus Crusade for Christ workers in Budapest and together they are responsible for training 1,100 Campus Crusade for Christ staff, mostly nationals, in 19 countries. They have a Leadership Development curriculum of 13 courses that are week long modular courses that all staff must complete. Campus Crusade has had a significant impact in some countries. Albania, a largely Muslim country, is now sending Christians to reach Muslims in other countries. It is a great work.

Today we went into the Campus Crusade Eastern European office (around 25 staff people) and had lunch with David's team. This afternoon we visited Budapest with David and Yulia. Csaba (pronounced Chaba), a Campus Crusade high school staffer, is a Hungarian who took us around the city, visiting the ancient sites (see his picture below). We even bumped into the President of Hungary outside the Hungarian White House.

Tomorrow we will spend some more time with Campus Crusade for Christ staff workers and some one-on-one time with David and Yulia. There little boys, Tosha and Evan, are all boy. They are full of joy, fun to play with, and they love their new "uncles."

Please pray for our time with the Beatty's tomorrow. We especially want to care for them personally and encourage them with gospel truth.

We travel from Budapest to India on Saturday. So far we are healthy and sleeping well, please pray for God's continued personal care of our health.

We love you CrossWay. Thank you for sending us to care for our mission partners. Enjoy the pictures.
