Praises
- Paul and Rodah’s kids are well, they enjoyed their time home over a short break
- Rodah’s ankle has healed well
- Paul’s sermon and Joshua’s testimony to 200 HS students went well Sunday morning – focus on purity and “Making a Mark” with your life.
Prayer Requests
- Continue in prayer regarding direction for Rodah – ministry demands are great and she would like to increase her time and focused involvement in ministry as God allows.
- Pray also for Paul as he seeks God’s direction regarding his ministry.
- Paul is speaking at a National Education Conference March 22 & 23 on the theme “Teaching Christianly” with a special focus on the role of Administration in Education – how Christian belief affects administration procedures in Christian High Schools and Colleges. He will also conduct a family / marriage seminar on March 31 and has two weddings coming up.
- Rodah also has various leadership responsibilities coming up – Church women’s committee meeting, HS Board Meeting, Church committee meeting, etc.
- Pray for the students at Scott, prep for May 4 graduation (about 30 students will be graduating), and Paul’s many administrative responsibilities there over the next few months.
- Pray for rain (the short rainy season is expected soon) and for agriculture and farming in Kenya, as it has been very dry. Prices of staples like milk have increased and availability is limited.
- Pray regarding current events in Kenya – 4 grenades were thrown in a bus terminal in Nairobi, killing 4, 12 in intensive care, 30 hospitalized – possibly tied to Kenya’s involvement with conflicts in Somalia.
- Pray for the political process in Kenya, preparations for elections later this year or early next year. Candidates are already campaigning.
