Brief Report on Robin Town in Kenya

Brian Kumkoski recently spoke with Robin Town while she was in Kenya visiting Paul and Rodah Mbandi and their family. Robin is at the tail end of a 2 week long medical mission trip.

I spoke with Robin Sunday morning, and with Paul and Rodah too. As you know, Robin is spending the last 5 days of her medical mission trip to Kenya with Paul and Rodah.

Overall Robins health has been good. She was battling a cold and sinus thing and has had only one migraine headache which was not as severe as some she has had in the past so she's thankful to God for this. It has been an emotional time as she has seen some pretty hard cases and the conditions of the hospital wards where she has been working were not up to U.S. health standards. She said there are some very basic conditions and she's seen a lot of poverty.

Paul picked her up Friday night. Saturday was spent touring Nairobi with the Mbandi's. Sunday she went with them to sevices at their local church. Today, Monday and Wednesday are open days at this point but Robin might be connecting with the friend of a friend who is near by on one of these two days. Tuesday she will be visiting Scott Theological College in Machakos where Paul is Deputy Principal. She said the food has been great and her time with the Mbandi's great also. Robin returns to the States on Thursday the 16th.

Please continue to pray for her as the trip wraps up.
