Extreme! That’s the adjective that could best describe the second quarter of 2010. The temperature in the Philippines was extremely hot with temperatures ranging from 36 to 38 degrees centigrade. The PTC Team, both in ministry as well as construction work was extremely productive. The PTC Family also received abundant blessings in relational, spiritual and temporal matters. Praise be to our Father in heaven who is extremely gracious and loving God.
Personal: I was extremely exhausted mentally in leading the PTC 10th Annual Ministers Conference, dealing with suppliers for the purchase and delivery of construction materials, supervising the construction work at the PTC Center, coordinating with the CrossWay Team that came to helped us out in the construction, and giving instructions to the PTC Team members who are in the field conducting seminars. Thanks be to the Lord, whose sustaining grace through His Word and presence are more than enough comfort and refresh me.
Family: We were able to have a one week vacation on the first week of June. Arcy, Marichu, Paul III, and I went to Balaoan La Union, (Arcy’s hometown). We attended Arcy’s family reunion on June 13, where we met many of their relatives. Since, it was a Sunday, I was requested to preach God’s Word as part of the ceremony.
Our youngest son, Paul III finished his studies at University of Asia and the Pacific. We attended the graduation rites at the Philippine International Convention Center.

We extended our vacation to accommodate their request. A seminar on the topic Spiritual Maturity was held at Emmanuel’s Christian Church. These group of leaders felt they need to have more training. We agreed to their request to teach them every month for the next 6 months until November.
Other Activities:
Community Outreach Program. A deep well was drilled near the PTC Center as a form of outreach program to the people living in the community. The deep well named “Reydan’s Well” in memory of our eldest son who died in a vehicle accident in October 2005, serve as additional water supply facility for the residents in the area. The funds were donated by an anonymous member of CrossWay Community Church.

PTC Center. A CrossWay Mission Team led by David Vecchitto came to the Philippines to help us in the construction of a building to serve as PTC Center. David and his team stayed for 12 days. The continues construction of the building was made possible by the generous offering from the CrossWay Community Church.
Thank you for support and prayers for this ministry of training grassroots pastors and church workers here in the Philippines.
