PTC Training Team:

Benjamin Mallari’s training in London Theological Seminary (LTS) was put on hold indefinitely. LTS has not yet been granted an authorisation from the Home Office of the British government to issue letters for visa. This is a new requirement for institutions accepting foreign students.

Andres (Andy) Navarra was the latest addition to the PTC Training Team. Andy opted for early retirement in his job with the Department of Education to work as fulltime pastor in a church. He has been a regular attendee of PTC seminars in Kalibo, Aklan. Andy was one of those who were trained as facilitator in September 2007. He requested to be enlisted as regular seminar facilitator. He joined me in Guimaras early this month.

PTC Center:

Wood planks were used as flooring for the mezzanine at the ground floor. A wooden bed, a dresser, and 2 cabinets were also made.

The bridge along Marcos Highway about 700 meters to the PTC Center was destroyed during the typhoon last Saturday, September 26. Rainy season in the Philippines starts in July and usually ends in October. These are also called typhoon months in our country.
