The 2009 Renner Cup is this Friday, October 30 at Indian Trail Football Stadium from 5:00-8:00 p.m. rain, sun, or snow. The Renner Cup sponsored by members of CrossWay and is a fund raiser in memory of Renner Lehmann.
The proceeds go to support CrossWay’s mission partners. This year the proceeds will go to support relief efforts from Typhoon Ondoy in the Philippines. Our partners in the Philippines, Paul Caampued and his leadership team, are caring for victims of Typhoon Ondoy who lost homes, livelihoods, and loved ones.
The Renner Cup is a round-robin soccer tournament between CrossWay members, CrossWay youth, CrossWay Milwaukee, and an adult soccer team in Kenosha. You can participate in the Renner Cup either by playing on one of the soccer teams, or coming as a spectator to support this event, or by volunteering in some capacity.
Admission to the event is FREE, however donations are accepted. Suggested donations are $25 per adult and $10 per child, however any donation will be accepted.
Volunteers are needed to bake goods for the bake sale. You can volunteer to bake goods by contacting Linda Mulkey. Volunteers are also needed to man the concessions and gate. You can volunteer here by contacting Jason Rossell.
