Dear Family and Friends,
Thank you for your prayers this last month, as we prepare to return "home" (and for Ch@rity to go for the first time) to River City we praise God for all he is doing in and through us here.
Packing and Moving
This month once again has been a busy month. The first week in June Ch@rity sorted everything in our small apartment. Precious items that won't make the trip across the ocean were packed into storage containers. A few suitcases for River City were packed and our clothes and "few" books were moved to our new home in Duluth. We are well settled and praising God for our beautiful new home for this season.
News from South Asia
Recently, one of Ch@d’s friends from among the Weaver People asked him about our marriage as they talked on the phone. We continue to praise God for all He has done in bringing us together as husband and wife. Please pray for us, that as we learn to love and care for one another, our marriage will bring glory to our Father.
Ch@d & Ch@rity's Dad
Praise the Lord for the opportunity that Ch@d had to attend a conference with Ch@rity's father, Tom, who flew in from London. Ch@d and Tom enjoyed spending time together, learning new ideas, and being reminded of important methods. Praise God for this opportunity that Ch@d had to continue to sharpen his thinking regarding the work to which we have been called.
Kenosha, WI
We are currently on our way to Kenosha, WI. Ch@d will be sharing at one of our partnering churches, CrossWay. Please pray that God would enable him to communicate with clarity and grace. Please pray that God will use Ch@d to encourage the people of CrossWay.
Florida and Training
After Kenosha we head back to Florida for our final connection with the people of our company. We will participate in training about team relationships and practical equipping for living overseas. Please pray that this will be a valuable time and that we will make the most of this opportunity.
Biographies Inspire Faith
As we look forward to this summer in Duluth and facilitating a class on cross-cultural work, we both have been reading biographies. As we have read, we have been inspired by the passion, trust, determination, faith, and joy in the Lord in spite of great suffering and many obstacles of those who have gone before us. Pray that even as we prepare to "return" to River City our hearts will be full of this same zeal. Thank you for your continual prayer for the Weaver People. May God be glorified among those who have not yet heard!
all for Him, Ch@d and Ch@rity

PS. We are including some pictures of Ch@rity's desire to be all things to all people. Married women among the Weaver People have their noses pierced. She bravely faced her dislike of pain of any kind and went to a tattoo and piercing parlor to fit into our neighborhood! Her good friend Kari took these photos and held her hand through the process. Thank you Kari!
