Philippines Pastors' Conference







The PTC Training Team had conducted 8 seminars and 1 leadership training for the period January to March 2009.




Seminar on Interpreting the Synoptics Gospels 2 was held at the Central Philippine Baptist Bible College in the island province of Guimaras. Seminar on Interpreting the Synoptic Gospels 1 was held at Inter- Faith Christian church in Maasin, Iloilo where we saw the devastation and ruins in the place cause by typhoon Frank in June last year. The church building was destroyed and the group is now renting a place for their meeting place. Paul Caampued and Marcelito Cagud led the training.

Seminar on Interpreting the Synoptic Gospels 2, and Basic Principles of Bible Exposition were held at Culasi Christian Church in Culasi, Antique. The church building and the parsonage were already restored as both of the small structures were carried off in the sea during the height of typhoon Frank. Jeff Taclas and Noman Felipe led the training.

A seminar on Mastering the Basics of Bible Exposition was held at the North Eastern Luzon District Council of the Assemblies of God in Santiago, Isabela. Arman Aspa led the training. A seminar on Basic Principles of Bible Exposition was held at Tanay, Rizal with Ben Reyes leading the training. A seminar on Interpreting the Gospels 1 was held at Subay Assemblies of God in Binangonan, Rizal. Rudy Rabe and Benjie mallari led the training.

A seminar in Interpreting God's Word with clarity was held at the Good Shepherd Church in Polillo Island. Paul Caampued and Ben Reyes led the training.

The PTC Training Team went through another leadership training in the area of personality and character development, and biblical theology. The training was held at the Goshen Farm in Tanay, Rizal.




Next week from March 31 to April 3 will be the PTC 9th Annual Ministers' Conference. This year's conference title is: A Minister as God’s Shining Star in the World. The theme of the conference is: “A MINISTER WHOSE LIFE SHINES BEFORE MEN”

Please join us in praying for:

1. The safe travel of the delagates to and from Gems Hotel, the conference venue. Some will travel Monday night, some will travel early Tuesday morning. They will travel back to their respective places on Friday afternoon.

2. Pray for the speakers. Dr. Josue Ganibe, the Dean of Faculty of Asian Theological Seminary will speak from Wednesday morning till Thurday morning on the topics- The Character of a Minister, The Goals of a Minister, and The Study Life of a Minister. Dr. David Chueng, the President of Asian Theological Semiary who will preach at the closing service on Friday morning. He will be preaching from Philippians 2:14-16.

3. Pray for me as I will be preaching from Philippians 3:12-14 during the opening service. I will be teaching the topics- Prayer Life of a Minister and The Influence of a Minister from Thursday afternoon to Friday morning.

4. Pray for my wife, Arcy, who will be serve as Conference Administrator.

5. Pray for Arman who will oversee the program activities of the conference.

6. Pray for Jeff Taclas who will lead the delegates during small group presentations.

7. Pray for my daughter, Marichu, who will serve as Conference Secretary.

8. Pray for Joseph Arellano and my son, Paul III, who will serve as musicians to lead the worship.

9. Pray for other members of the PTC Training Team who will lead the small groups during the workshops.

Praise God for His sufficient provisions for the conference.
