Accomplishments
By God's grace, 2008 is another productive year of ministry with God's clear direction and sufficient provisions. Despite the oil crisis and the global financial meltdown, we were able to focus on our work.
PTC Seminars
The PTC Team was able to conduct a total of 35 seminars, 1 facilitator’s training, 1 trainor’s training, and leadership training. There were 509 participants in these training activities mostly pastors and church leaders. This means more than 100 local churches and congregations were strengthened as their pastors and leaders were trained in biblical exegesis, expository preaching, and leadership.
PTC Center
The PTC Training Center is 80% completed. Most of the funds were provided through the contribution of Crossway Community Church. Some funds were also sourced locally. The building is being used as a worship center of church that was planted as result of a 2 nights Proclaim Jesus Crusade in April.

Encouragement from our work
Encouragement from our work
Foremost is God’s direction through His Word as we work as a team in teaching and training the pastors and church workers in different parts of the Philippines. The personal relationship among the PTC Team Members grows stronger as years go by.
Another encouragement is the sufficiency of God’s provisions for the work we are doing through Entrust Foundation and Crossway (especially for the construction of the PTC Center).
One more encouragement is the transformed lives of the delegates attending the seminars and the impact of their training to the members of the
congregation they are leading.
Testimony of one pastor who had been attending PTC seminars for about 2 years:
"I am Pastor Gumer P. Alburo from Nueva Ecija. When I was transferred to Bataan last year, 2007 at IRM Parang (Bagac, Bataan), I started to join Pastoral Training Course seminars because all the pastors under the leadership of our Provincial Administrator, Rev. Lorenz Lara are studying. At first, I did not enjoy the training because I was just new in the place, and I thought it was just additional work and burden. But I was wrong. Eventually I realized that PTC is the ministry that could be a great help to me, especially in studying God’s Word. Today, I am able to prepare sermons very well every week for the worship service. My preaching became very clear, easily understood, and relevant to the needs of the members of the congregation. I’m very grateful to the ministry of PTC. Even though they don’t receive love gift, they continue to give time and spent money just to teach us. I thank all the PTC Staff, especially to the Director Pastor Paul C. Caampued. The topics they teach us are relevant to my situation and needs. May God continue to bless the ministry of PTC. For me, it is a treasure that I will never forget as I continue serve the Lord. Praise God".
Some participants in the seminar could only understand their native dialects and we felt really limited in this matter. There is a great need of learning more dialects to be able to connect with them effectively. There are 136 dialects in the Philippines, I can speak only 6!
We were not able to put up the planned Emergency Fund of Sixty Thousand (Php 60,000) Pesos for the “unforeseen needs” of the PTC Team Members and their immediate family, although we were able to give some help to 2 members of the Team whose family members fell ill.
