Introducing Mr. and Mrs.

Dear Family & Friends,

Because of the LORD's mercy, on December 27th, in Golden Valley, MN, Ch@rity Ward (who is - you may recall - the most godly, wise, beautiful and wonderful woman on the planet!) and I got married. It was a wonderful day; a day to remember. As far as the two of us are concerned, the wedding could not have been more beautiful. We were both absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out. We thank our heavenly Father for his undeserved kindness in bringing us together and in giving us such a wonderful wedding day.

For those of you who are curious to know what the game plan is ... Ch@rity and I plan to be here in the States until this Fall, at which time we plan to return to River City to continue the work to which the LORD has called us among the Ansari Mslms of that city. During our time here in the States we hope to be able to connect with many of you who have been praying faithfully for the work the LORD is doing among the Ansari, and have supported this work financially, and in other ways.

On January 1st Ch@rity and I started a new read-through-the-Bible-in-a-year reading plan together. As part of this plan we have been working our way through 1 Chronicles. In 1 Chronicles we read about King David. In chapter 11 it tells us that "David became greater and greater, for the LORD of hosts was with him." But that is not all. We are also told that David was surrounded by "mighty men, who gave him strong support in his kindgom." During our time here in the States, Ch@rity and I are trusting and asking the LORD to raise up for us some "mighty men" and mighty women who would come along side of us in our work among the Ansari in River City.

During our time in the States, Ch@rity will need to "jump some hoops" before she is a full-fledged member of PI*NEERS. This will require - among other things - two trips down to the mobilization base in Orlando. PI*NEERS requires all members to have taken at least 30 credit hours of Bible courses (college level or above). Because Ch@rity has taught Bible to middle-schoolers for 5 years (3 years in Pak*stan, 2 years here in Minneapolis), PI is waiving 20 of the 30 hours required. However that means she still has 10 to go (which equates into 3 courses). Ch@rity has begun her first of three courses from RTS (Reformed Theological Seminary).

We hope to connect with as many of you as possible during our time here in the States. If you would like to get together with us please let us know that.

a Pray that the LORD would bless our home-assignment time in the States.

aPray that he would provide for us many opportunities to be a blessing to his people, as well as to those who have not yet trusted in the Savior.

a Pray that our heavenly Father would raise up for us a band of men and women who are "strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might."

a Pray that the LORD would use us to mobilize pray-ers, send-ers and go-ers for the least reached peoples (and for the Ansari Mslms of N. India in particular).

a Pray for Ch@rity as she puts in long hours to get these courses done before we head for River City this Fall.

Your prayers for (and support of) us at this time are greatly appreciated.

Thank you. all for Christ, Ch@d & now Ch@rity too
