Brazil 09 - Pastor Marcelo

Pastor Marcelo is one of the pastors in Governador Valadares who encouraged us greatly. He started pastoring a church in a circus tent on the edge of town. After the church grew, they purchased a piece of land and began to build a church building. He told us story after story on God provided laborers and material for the construction of their church building. Pastor Marcelo has personally participated in the construction of many parts of the building, many times on his own. The building is still in need of windows, a finished floor, and finished ceiling. He is a man of great faith, joy, and humility.
