Thanks to God's kindness, our mission partner Nelson Salviano, and CrossWay Community Church in Wisconsin, we have arrived here safetly in Brazil! 16 of the CrossWay team from both Milwaukee and Bristol departed early Monday morning June 11th.
We left US soil from Chicago's O'Hare airport, had a brief stop in Panama City before finally arriving in Belo Horizonte after mid-night Tuesday morning.
We were met there by Nelson Salviano and enjoyed a sweet renewal of old friendships and a beginning of new ones. Nelson arranged for our team to immediately be bused to our destination of Itaobim, some 12 hours away, where we would be spending the next several days.
We briefly stopped mid-way in the city of Governador Valadares to meet Pastor Geraaldo and freshen up at his the church he pastors.
We are so thankful for CrossWay extending the love of Christ by sending our team here to Brazil. We are eager to particapate along side God's purposes for Brazilian church.
