Prayer Requests from the Salviano's Nov 2012

Nelson has requested prayers for each member of his family.  Let us support our mission partners by praying to our all-powerful God.  Here are their prayer requests:

Nelson: Thank God for His tremendous help as I ministered to 80 leaders at a Pastors and leaders conference on Expository Preaching where I was the only speaker. It was a breathtaking experience to see all those leaders in hunger to learn more about the Bible and how to preach it well. The sections where divided as follows:
Thursday evening: 7-8:30pm - What is Expository Preaching? And 8:45-10:15pm - From text to Sermon
Friday morning: 8-9:30am and 10:30am - The double authorship of Scripture
Friday afternoon: 2-5pm - working in groups.
Friday evening: 7-8:30pm and 8:45-10pm - Principles of Biblical Interpretation
Saturday morning: 8-9:30am - The expository sermon and 10:30am - Sermon series.
ESCALE: We are building an office for ESCALE and a room in our backyard and it is taking so long. We had to stop the building due to some financial hardship. Now the rain season has started and there is some water infiltration in our home from the new building which is attached to our house.  Please pray that we may finish it soon.

Camila: pray for her studies as her High School is very much pushing. Three times a week she starts at 7am and finishes 6:40pm. She has tests every Friday evenings besides many papers to write. And she usually gets home very tired. Apart from that she is also busy at the weekends leading the teenager group at the Church. They have prayer meeting on Friday night, home visiting on Saturday, and Sunday school. We as a family attend the morning and the evening services as well.

André: Thanks God he has recovered from a tropical disease called “DENGUE”, which is caused by a mosquito called Aedes aegypt. He has returned to school and to his football activities. Pray also for his decision to become a church member. He is attending preparation class on Sunday mornings and so far he is very much motivated.

Márcia: Things at the Federal University Clinics Hospital, where she works, has settled down now. The strike has finished and people are working happily again. Pray for the opportunities Márcia has to share the Gospel with her work mates and patients. Please, pray also for the church’s women’s group that she attends and helps.
