Dear Friends,
Greeting from Kenya in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We thank God for his guidance and provision during the year 2010. We also want to thank all our partners in the ministry who have supported us with prayers, words of encouragement, and finance. We cannot imagine how the year could have been without you. Therefore, we would like to appreciate all your participation, otherwise, all what we accomplished this year was as a result of our partnership. We pray that our Almighty God would bless you exceedingly so as to increase in his service.
We thank God for his grace this year which enabled us to participate in many seminars and conferences in addit

The August conferences are becoming a good way of reaching many people at the same time. They are usually two days conference, currently I am in the planning committee of the conferences that would be held August 2011 in Machakos region.
Our last conference this year will be held tomorrow (28th December, 2010) at our home church district. This conference is for youths (those are in high school, college or are working). Pray that the young people would be encouraged to stand for Christ and serve him whole heartedly as they go back to their schools or colleges early January, 2011.
In addition to our main ministry of training church leaders, we also seek to promote self-help community projects due to economic situation in Africa. This December, we assisted a single blind woman with a water pump and pipes so as to be irrigating her small farm which is near a river that does not dry up. The woman is a very committed Christian. She has one son who has three children and is not employed. Therefore, the pump has created a job for him and his wife. We trust that the pump will assist them to take care of their children and blind mother. The family and the church members were so encouraged by the donation of the pump (see the attached pictures of the pump testing).

We thank God those who have not only supported us, but have also contributed to students’ scholarship fund and other Scott Theological College projects by sending their support directly to STC Foundation in USA.
As we begin this year (2011) we request you to continue praying with us for the following:
- Pray for STC, especially for us to continue equipping men and women with biblical knowledge, ministry skill and godly character so as to win many to Christ and to build the church of Christ in Africa
- Pray for the mission trip to Kenya that is being organized by a team from Crossway Community Church, in Wisconsin in late August 2011.
- Pray for us to continue raising our sons and daughter in a godly way and for Joshua who is looking forward to join college in September 2011. Pray that the Lord would lead him to an affordable university where he can learn and continue growing spiritually.
- Pray for John and Irene (for those who might not know Irene, she is my brother’s daughter whom we take care of; she is a total orphan). John and Irene sat for their grade 8 national exam in November, 2010 and they will be joining high school in January, 2011.
- Pray for our (I and my wife’s) trip to USA around May and June, 2011. We thank God for the provision of the Airplane tickets.
- Pray for this year’s main projects, that is, the constriction of the Retreat Center at Scott Theological College and the completion of our home village church building (Masaw’a AIC).
Send and address any check for our support to Missions Afield, P.O. Box 294 Zion, IL 60099, with a note stating that it is for the Mbandis.
We wish you a happy new year that is full of God’s blessing. Attached are our family pictures during this year’s Christmas in our house.
Yours in the Ministry of Christ,
Paul & Rodah Mbandi
